PSM Biennial Meeting November 4-6, 2009Washington Court Hotel on Capitol HillWashington, DC
Anyone interested in attending the PSM Biennial Meeting may register on-site. As the pre-registration deadline has passed, new registrants will not be listed in the participant and bios listings.
Many PSM programs have been or are being developed in response to the forces affecting higher education institutions including U.S. competitiveness, globalization, increased institutional accountability to the state for public institutions, increased competition for students, and demographic changes in the composition of graduate students. This Biennial Meeting will address the PSM initiative's response to these forces and the means for sustaining programs for future growth. This meeting also provides a valuable opportunity to network with PSM program directors and deans, as well as federal agency personnel, professional society representatives, and Congressional staff. The program will consist of both plenary and contributed paper sessions, and a poster session highlighting best practices.
Registration is complimentary; however, every person must register in order to attend to the conference. All individuals submitting paper and/or poster abstracts must register for the conference. The hotel cost at the Washington Court Hotel on Capitol Hill is a special CGS meeting rate of $239 per night for single occupancy or $259 per night for double occupancy. SPECIAL RATE: Attendees who would like to stay over in Washington D.C. on Friday and Saturday night can do so at a special rate of $165 per night for single and double occupancy.
All registrants must call the hotel to make their reservations.
